Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as an engineer for the U.S.
Navy in Washington state, where you'll oversee ship repair projects, solve technical problems, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
You'll act as the main expert for technical issues on these projects and coordinate with teams to keep everything on track.
It's a great fit for experienced engineers who enjoy hands-on problem-solving in a military or industrial setting and have a background in engineering projects.
You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the INDUSTRY MANAGEMENT & FLEET TECH DIVISION, ENGINEERING & PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PSNS and IMF.
In addition to the basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer planning and coordinating the direction and progress of engineering projects to include devising solutions and actions to resolve technical issues, solving complex ship repair deficiencies, and ensuring project work meets technical standards and compliance.
