This job involves overseeing business and production aspects of building and modifying DDG 51 Navy destroyers at a shipyard in Bath, Maine, including managing changes to projects, handling budgets, and ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time.
It's a good fit for someone with experience in project management, especially in manufacturing or defense, who enjoys coordinating teams and analyzing financial and operational data to keep large-scale programs on track.
You will serve as a GENERAL BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY SPECIALIST in the DDG51 Project Office, Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: management in directing the development, implementation, and analysis of comprehensive management systems and detailed plans for the execution and analysis of a Production Program.
