Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing fuel operations at a Navy base in Texas, including overseeing maintenance of fuel facilities, handling contracts with the Department of Defense, and preparing budgets and reports to ensure safe and efficient fuel handling.

You will serve as a FUELS SPECIALIST of NAS CORPUS CHRISTI.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Utilizing maintenance tracking systems to develop periodic asset management schedules and annual maintenance cycle plans; 2) Interpreting petroleum operations management reports to determine the impact of maintenance and loss of components on operability; 3) Overseeing the operation and maintenance of fuel facilities to ensure quality control and safe handling of bulk petroleum fuels.
