Full Job Description

This National Guard position is for a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER -Title 32, Position Description Number D2427000 and is part of the WI 115 LRS, Wisconsin Air National Guard.

*This vacancy is also advertised as AGR Job Announcement Number 26-056ANG* GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates the ability to follow instructions and to safely operate the type of equipment required to accomplish the duties of the position.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the WG-09 level, you must have at least 12 months experience or training operating, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting and overhauling fuel systems and components.

Experience or training initiating and controlling the movement and storage of fuel supplies by operating high pressure systems with a series of terminals connected by cross-country pipelines or multi-fuel storage and distribution facilities connected by a network of internal pipelines.

Major Duties:

  • As a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER -Title 32, WG-5413-9, you will manage fuel on behalf of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) which consists of operations and maintenance of a fuel distribution system that includes a fuels laboratory, cryogenic storage, bulk storage, base service station, fuels information service center, mobile fueling operations and the financial account management for missile propellants, aviation fuels, ground fuels and cryogenics utilized in support of aircraft, motor vehicles, engine test cells, powered Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE), generators and heating systems required to support the Wing mission and transient aircraft.
