About the Position: This position is with the Defense Commissary Agency, located in Ramstein, Germany.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Food Service Worker Leader for the delicatessen/bakery departments and to also perform non-lead Food Service Worker duties of the assigned departments.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Food Service Worker Leader without more than normal supervision.
I have the ability to perform common Food Service Worker Leader duties.
I can assign immediate tasks, accomplish food service work, insure needed stock is obtained, check work progress, monitor sequence, procedures, methods and deadlines, assure safety and housekeeping rules are followed.
I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.

Workers are subject to continuous walking, standing, bending, pushing and pulling. They may be required to work on ladders and use powered cleaning equipment.
They frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds: lifts heavier items with assistance.
Working Conditions: The work is normally performed in a deli or bakery area where some temperatures may be uncomfortable.
Areas are well lighted, but there may be dangers of slipping on floors, exposure to hot surfaces and liquids, sharp cutting utensils, and extreme temperatures when entering walk-in refrigerators or frozen foods units.
