About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Daily Grind at the Rocker Enlisted Club on Kadena Air Base, Okinawa.

Ability to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push and bend for long periods of time. Major Duties:

The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of manual duties in a coffee shop environment, including preparing and serving beverages, operating specialized equipment, and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.

Sets up the coffee station for service, ensuring an adequate supply of cups, lids, sleeves, napkins, condiments, and pastry items.

Operates, breaks down, and cleans specialized coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines, coffee grinders, and blenders.

Cleans service and customer areas, such as worktables, counters, and seating areas. Separates food waste and trash. Loads and operates dishwashers, and stores clean dishes, glasses, and utensils.

Washes tables and counters, sweeps and mops floors, and cleans and sanitizes trashcans.

Prepares ingredients for beverage production, such as brewing coffee and tea, and portioning items for blended drinks. Greets customers, takes food and beverage orders, and receives payment.

Prepares a full range of hot and cold beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and smoothies, according to standard recipes. Performs other related duties as assigned.
