About the position: This position is Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the 35th Force Support Squadron Flyers.
The primary purpose of this position is to mix an assortment of beverages to the general public.
This is a Flexible category position; guaranteed 0 hours per week but may work up to 40 hours a week (depending on the needs of the facility).

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Must be able to follow simple oral instructions, be able to use hand tools for cleaning, and operate simple machines.
Must have knowledge of sanitation standards in handling and serving food, and for cleaning equipment and work area. Must have cash handling experience.
Conditions of Employment: Must be physically able to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 background check.
Will be required to work an uncommon tour of duty to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Major Duties:
Operates full-service Espresso Bar.
Prepares a wide range of drinks including but not limited to lattes, espressos, Americanos, and cappuccinos by selecting the proper grind of the coffee shot and following set recipes for each individual variation of drink.
Must be able to follow basic requirements for each type drink but not limited to preheating the portafilter, knowing the difference in grinds of coffee, knowing how long should a shot take to brew into cup, preheating the cup, how to "pull" and "tamp"' into the portafilter, difference in frothing and steaming milk, and able to know difference and relay information to customers on the differences in drink choices.
Sets up Espresso Bar for operation and obtains cash bank. Maintains neat and clean work area. Washes Espresso Bar equipment and utensils.
Stocks service bars and assists supervisor on duty as necessary. Restock Espresso Bar. Clean dining room, take out trash and keep the front of house generally organized and welcoming.
Operates a cash register, rings-up sales, accepts payment, and processes change. Will be required to prepare documentation for cash funds availability. Able to prep food items as needed.
