About the position: This position will be assigned to the Grizzly Bend. This position is considered flexible. Flex positions are not eligible to earn leave and other NAF benefits.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Demonstrates dependability and performs the expected volume of work. Performs cash handling functions within the established standards.
Exercises tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers. Strictly follows safety and security instructions.
Interacts with supervisors and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner demonstrating an ability to work cooperatively with others.
Must follow acceptable standards of dress, personal hygiene and conduct. Implements and maintains an effective internal control system to preclude or minimize the potential for fraud, waste and abuse.
Able to read and complete instructions on recipe cards. Recognizes intoxicated and unruly patrons and resolves the problem or seeks assistance if needed.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:
Operates limited coffee bar. Prepares and serves a limited variety of hot beverages (i.e.
brewed coffees, lattes, espresso, tea, cappuccinos, hot chocolate, etc.) by selecting, mixing, and brewing the proper ingredients according to the number of servings required.
Must be able to follow basic cappuccino requirement of each type drink including but not limited to; preheating the portafilter, knowing the difference in grinds of coffee, knowing how long it should take a shot to brew into cup, preheating the cup, how to "pull" and "tamp" into the portafilter, difference in frothing and steaming milk, and able to know difference and relay information to customers on the difference in drink choices.
Sells and serves a variety pastry items. Operates a cash register, rings-up sales, and accept payments and processes change. Prepares documentation for cash funds accountability.
Sets up and prepares area for service. Prepares tables and side service stands. Maintains work area in a neat and clean manner. Breaks down and cleans area.
Cleans area to include operating a dishwasher or manually washing glassware, beverage makers, and other utensils. Collects and transfers trash from work area to disposal area.
Sets up Cappuccino corner for operation and obtains cash bank. Maintains neat and clean work area. Washes cappuccino bar equipment and utensils.
Stocks service bars and assist supervisor on duty as necessary. Performs other related duties as assigned.
