About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Food and Beverage Facilities for the 6th Force Support Squadron, MacDill AFB, FL.
Must be physically able to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
Must be able to continuously stand and walk, and frequently stoop, reach, push, pull and bend for long periods of time. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

Qualifying Experience: Must be able to follow simple oral instructions, be able to use hand tools for cleaning, and operate simple machines.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:
The purpose of this position is to perform routine manual duties in food preparation or food service areas.
Sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, condiments and warm/cold menu items (e.g., tacos, meats, warm toppings, salads, dessert, bread and cold beverages) on a serving line.
Removes dishes and trays from tables. Operates, breaks down and cleans all electrical equipment for food preparation. Cleans kitchen equipment (e.g., worktables, sinks and refrigerators).
Separates food waste and trash from dishes, glasses and silverware in dishwashing area. Loads and operates dishwashers, stores clean dishes, glasses and silverware.
Washes tables and counters, vacuums and shampoos carpets. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors, cleans windows, wash walls and clean and sanitizes trashcans.
Sorts, washes, peels and cuts fresh fruits and vegetables. Prepares orders ready for serving.
