Summary

Full Job Description

This position is located at Warrior Lanes Bowling Center Fort Polk, Louisiana. Warrior Lanes is a premier Bowling Center.

As part of the Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) Programs, it is dedicated to providing an unforgettable experience for Soldiers, Families and Civilian Community.

Warrior Lanes is a state-of-the-art facility featuring 24 bowling lanes all equipped with the BES-X Scoring System with a dine-in snack bar, party packages, and bowling league/tournaments.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Experience or training that indicates sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position consistent with acceptable practices of the trade including but not limited to.

1. Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages. 2. Ability to work without more than normal supervision. 3.

Ability to keep things neat, clean, and in order .4. Possess basic food preparation and handling techniques. 5. Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions. 6.

Knowledge of basic sanitation principles. 7. Ability to use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment. 8.

Able to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds and frequently walk, bend, stoop, pull, push and reach. *** All experience must be listed on the resume for that experience to be considered.

Major Duties:

  • Serves as cashier in the snack bar, receiving payment by cash or charge. Completes cash report at the end of assigned shift.
  • May work on a mobile eating cart driving around to deliver food and drink to patrons.
  • Coordinates food and beverage needs for special events, not limited to preparing and serving food and cleaning work areas.
  • Removes perishable foods from the freezer for daily activities. Assures that tables/work surfaces are promptly cleared and cleaned. Cleans other work areas to include walls, floors, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
