Job Description
Summary
This job involves helping to raise and distribute striped bass fish at a state hatchery and wildlife center, along with cleaning, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining the grounds and tools.
It's a hands-on role that requires working outdoors in tough weather and odd hours, often on your own.
A good fit would be someone with basic experience in wildlife or farming who doesn't mind physical labor and irregular schedules.
Key Requirements
- High school diploma plus two years of related experience in wildlife, fisheries, or agricultural work
- Or an associate degree in technical sciences
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to work in inclement weather conditions
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Ability to work irregular, long hours, and weekends
Full Job Description
This position will be responsible for assisting with the production and distribution of Striped Bass at the Bayless Hatchery and Dennis Wildlife Center.
Job duties will include:
- Production and distribution of Striped Bass.
- General cleaning and sterilization.
- Assisting with grounds and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
