Job Description
Summary
This role involves leading a team of fire and safety officers on the morning shift at a psychiatric hospital, where you'll oversee daily safety tasks, schedule work, and train staff to keep the facility secure.
It's a hands-on position that requires participating in safety duties while guiding others.
A good fit would be someone with prior experience in fire and safety roles, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to protecting vulnerable patients in a healthcare setting.
Key Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Two years of experience as a Fire and Safety Officer, including one year at E7 level or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- No felony convictions that prohibit possessing or carrying a firearm
- Ability to pass pre-employment, random, and other drug/alcohol testing
- Experience leading or overseeing teams in safety operations
- Knowledge of fire safety protocols and training subordinate staff

Education
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
Experience
Two years of experience equivalent to a Fire and Safety Officer, including one year equivalent to a Fire and Safety Officer E7.
Additional Information
Absence of a criminal record of felony convictions which would prohibit the applicant from receiving, possessing, and carrying a firearm.
