This job involves handling financial tasks like managing accounts, verifying documents, and providing advice on pay rules for military personnel in a Navy aviation support unit.
It supports accounting, budgeting, and payroll functions through data entry, reconciliation, and compliance checks.

You will serve as a FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the AVIATION SUPPORT DEPARTMENT of STRIKE FIGHTER WING PACIFIC STAFF.
For the GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing financial management services (e.g., entering data into automated systems, reviewing invoices, or verifying accuracy of documents) to support accounting, budgetary, or payroll functions.
For the GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing financial management support (e.g., sorting financial documents, maintaining files, and/or identifying data discrepancies) to support accounting, budgetary, or payroll functions.
