Base salary range: $37,764 - $49,094

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves handling military pay and financial records for active, reserve, and retired service members, including setting up accounts, processing separations, and fixing any errors in payments.
It also supports budget tasks like organizing funding data and responding to pay questions.
A good fit would be someone with experience in financial record-keeping who is detail-oriented and comfortable using computer systems for accounting.
You will serve as a Financial Technician in the III Marine Expeditionary Force of III MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical expertise in the maintenance of financial data or records, reconciling accounting or financial records, and identifying discrepancies using financial automated systems and software.
