Full Job Description

You will serve as a Financial Technician in the III Marine Expeditionary Force of III MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical expertise in the maintenance of financial data or records, reconciling accounting or financial records, and identifying discrepancies using financial automated systems and software.

• You will establish, maintain, correct and close pay accounts for active, reserve, or retired armed forces personnel and their annuitants.
• You will assist in processing, out processing, and separating services members.
• You will respond to pay inquiries, review pay debts, and process adjustments.
• You will perform technician work in support of budget analysis and administration such as ledgers, budget formulation, compiling, consolidating, checking and arranging funding data.
