Summary

Full Job Description

You will serve as a FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the PATROL & RECONNAISSANCE WING of COMMANDER, PATROL WING 10.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing financial data from integrated systems to maintain accounting transactions, prepare travel authorizations, and compile financial reports.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:

  • You will assist in the management of the overall Temporary Duty (TDY) functions and budgetary needs to meet the requirements of the command.
  • You will provide funding documents for squadron deployments encompassing billeting and vehicle requirements within 5 days of receipt.
  • You will process all travel vouchers within five business days from date of completed travel.
  • You will compile resource data from various financial reports and prepare weekly budget execution requirements.
  • You will provide weekly and monthly data as necessary, reviewing for potential financial shortfalls, tracking fund distributions, reconciling obligations, and re-allocating funds as required.
  • You will research, gather, and compile varied information to formalize input to a myriad of command level or higher echelon reports, assessments, data calls, and reviews.
  • You will provide customer service on a daily basis often seeking information to assist or refer customers.
  • You will prepare all travel authorizations within three business days of receipt of approved request.
