This position is located at the Bureau of the Fiscal Service in the Office of the Associate Commissioner, Debt Servicing and Financial Solutions, FM QSMO Division.
As a Financial Systems Analyst, you will serve as a technical expert advancing financial management standards and ensuring they are embedded into core financial systems.
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.
One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.

For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position includes ALL of the following: - Experience with the development or analysis of federal financial management business and data standards.; AND - Experience researching, synthesizing, analyzing, and interpreting technical data, policy, or guidance.; AND - Experience analyzing requirements to support maintenance or implementation of financial systems or enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks. Major Duties:
As a Financial Systems Analyst, you will: Complete reviews and/or audits of service delivery functions that may involve areas across Fiscal Service.
Develop and enhance standard processes, tools, and procedures to support agency migrations to marketplace solutions.
Participate in financial management community forums, councils, conferences, and events as a spokesperson or to deliver presentations related to standards, common requirements, and financial systems.
Facilitate information exchanges and discussions among federal agencies, commercial providers of software products and other stakeholders to advance implementation of common standards in software solutions.
Provide subject matter advice and recommendations to support OCEM activities, as needed.
