Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-8. Master's degree or 2 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves analyzing financial data, helping create budgets, and suggesting ways to improve money management for the U.S. Marine Corps base in North Carolina.
You'll review reports, work with audits, and ensure everything follows rules to keep finances on track.
It's a good fit for someone with a couple of years in finance or accounting who likes problem-solving and working in a structured government environment.
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the RESOURCE EVALUATION & ANALYSIS DIVSION of MARINE CORPS BASE.
GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector reviewing and evaluating financial data for budget formulation and cost estimates, and reporting financial obligations and expenditures.
GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting in the review and evaluation of financial data for budget formulation and cost estimates, and reporting financial obligations and expenditures.
