Base salary range: $104,604 - $135,987

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing and improving financial systems for the Navy, focusing on training users, creating reports and dashboards, and solving data issues to help leaders make better decisions.

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT of COMMANDER - NAVAL INSTALLATIONS.
GS-14: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing: 1) Training and supporting end users with financial systems.
2) Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications, Power Platform and automation tools.
3) Creating and maintaining clear and concise technical documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and training material.
4) Identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex system and data issues. 5) Practice with system development life cycle to include gathering requirements, design, testing, implementation and support.
GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing: 1) Working with financial data, including analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
2) Supporting end users and providing customer service to solve system deficiencies. 3) Proficient in data extraction, manipulation, and reporting tools such as Power BI and QLIK.
4) Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices. 5) Analyzing financial data, identifying trends and providing recommendations.
