Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves analyzing financial data, creating reports and dashboards to track performance and trends, and evaluating how policy changes affect operations in a naval supply command.
It also includes supporting audits, identifying problems in systems and processes, and recommending improvements.
A good fit would be someone with experience in financial analysis, data tools, and leading teams, who enjoys working with numbers and communicating findings clearly.
You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and reporting on financial data, participating in Audit Remediation initiatives, conducting root cause analysis, and assessing impact of business processes and policy changes.
Specific work experience must demonstrate the following duties: 1) Collecting and mining logistical and financial data; 2) Evaluating operational, financial, and automated system deficiencies/problems to provide corrective action; 3) Performing problem definition, analysis, and recommendations; 4) Quantifying volume and dollar impact of policy changes; 5) Interpreting/documenting/implementing financial processes; and 6) Displaying knowledge of sas, sql, databricks, tableau, and qlik Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
