Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves helping manage budgets, track spending, and handle financial paperwork for the U.S. Navy's Pacific Fleet submarine operations in Hawaii.
You'll use computer systems to prepare funding requests, fix accounting issues, and process payments while following government rules.
It's a good fit for someone with a couple of years of experience in finance or accounting, especially in a structured environment like the military or government, who enjoys detail-oriented work with numbers.
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the OPTAR Accounting Division of PAC FLEET SUB FORCE OPS COMPONENT.
GS-11 Grade level Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing Financial Management tasks to include drafting funding documents and correcting accounting errors utilizing automated systems such as Navy Accounting Systems; using Navy R-Supply systems to interface with Accounting Systems; and processing invoices using a Wide Area Workflow system.
GS-09 Grade level Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: supporting senior analysts in performing Financial Management tasks to include drafting funding documents and correcting accounting errors utilizing automated systems such as Navy Accounting Systems; using Navy R-Supply systems to interface with Accounting Systems; and processing invoices using a Wide Area Workflow system.
