This job involves overseeing and managing property records and programs for Navy installations in Florida, ensuring everything complies with military financial rules and resolving any issues with accountability.
You'll act as an expert advisor to commanders and staff, handling inventories, audits, and reports to keep track of equipment and assets.

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of COMNAVREG SE JAX.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing a Property Book on behalf of a Commanding Officer or Comptroller; 2) Conducting analysis and maintaining a property book across multiple commands to ensure compliance with DOD/DON instructions and FMR regulations; 3) Identifying and resolving accountability discrepancies via an expert knowledge of compliance and budgetary/financial acumen; 4) Providing property data elements and mandatory recurring and ad hoc reporting requirements; 5) Conducting property book transfers and Change of Command inventories; 6) Scheduling and performing staff assistance visits, regular/recurring inspections and audit/investigation, to include Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL, DD200) to subordinate installations/units; 7) Serving as a technical subject matter expert advising the Commander/Comptroller and subordinate installation/unit Commanders/Accountable Property Officers/Custodians.
