About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Family Camp.

This is a Regular Full Time (RFT) position, guaranteed 35 hrs per work week with benefits (medical, dental, life insurance, retirement, 401(k), and annual/sick leave. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Experience of principles and practices of basic maintenance and upkeep of recreation vehicle campsites to include RV hookup, laundry room, bathroom/shower facilities, to include basic electrical and plumbing skills is desirable.

General management experience is desirable. Must have general knowledge of maintaining a wireless internet system.

Must have knowledge of various computer programs to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook.

Must have the ability to proficiently operate and maintain the computerized reservation system. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Major Duties:

The purpose of this position is to perform managerial duties at the Family Camp.

Plans, develops, and directs the operation of the Luke Fam Camp subject to installation policies, agency regulations, and applicable federal and state laws.

Manages a 12 acre recreation complex which includes 61 recreational vehicle (RV) campsites, 20 undeveloped spaces, latrine facility, laundry facility, showers rooms and office support recreation facility.

Is administratively responsible to the Recreation Complex Manager. Prepares budgets and NRB requirements including justifications. Supervises personnel.

Has full responsibility for all supplies and equipment. Accounts for all funds and resale merchandise and prepares daily reports.

Develops and submits quarterly and annual budget requirements with quarterly revisions to meet operating needs. Selects, trains, and supervises assigned employees.

Ensures that cash funds and receipts are properly controlled and accounted for. The activity is a major revenue producer for FSS. Ensures activity meets overall Services financial goals.

Protects Air Force assets and interest. Controls forms relative to the section operation maintaining them in working level. Facility Management.

Works with ground safety officials, inspects facility and grounds to ensure safety hazards are removed or corrected.

Develops and prepares justification and specifications for constructing new sites/projects. Serves as technical consultant for the purchase of supplies and equipment for the Outdoor Recreation program.

Checks park areas for cleanliness and polices areas as required.
