Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This role involves managing and maintaining facilities for the Navy, including planning repairs, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring spaces are used efficiently to support operations.
It focuses on creating sustainable plans for building upkeep, handling budgets, and solving everyday facility issues.
A good fit would be someone with experience in facility management or operations, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with government teams and systems.
You will serve as a FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the SEA 10F, Facilities Department of NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-02 (GS-11 Equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying analytical techniques to develop strategies for planning facility maintenance and utilization in order to resolve space management issues, ensure optimal use of resources, and meet evolving services and equipment needs for facility projects.
