Job DescriptionThis is a position for civilian State Employees in the Operations and Maintenance of State facilities and infrastructure bases at the Utah National Guard this will include receiving work requests for repairs and maintenance, assigning/scheduling work requests for repairs, preventative maintenance, budget management (both state and federal), and monitoring and inspecting work. This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. Incumbents in this job coordinate and manage a facilities operation and management program that may include preventative maintenance, grounds maintenance, housekeeping, space planning, construction, remodeling and renovation, fire and life safety, inventory control, cost accounting, cost estimates, procurement actions, on-site verifications, material listings, procurement of construction contractors work schedules; ensuring availability of temporary facilities, oversight of projects through completion, reviewing lease and service agreements; monitoring service delivery; developing tracking systems; conducting inspections; training on safety standards; coordinating building security and identification programs; preparing schedules; assisting with budget preparation.
The Ideal Candidate- Will have 5 or more years of experience in maintenance
- Will have 5 or more years of supervisor experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Retirement - Utah Retirement Systems (URS):
- Employees who have any service credit with an employer covered by the Utah Retirement Systems prior to 7/1/2011 are in the Tier I Public Employees System.
- Employees hired on or after 7/1/2011 and who have never been in the URS retirement system have two options for retirement in the Tier II System.
- Tier 2 Hybrid Retirement System. Employer contributes an amount equal to 10% of your salary between both plans (pension and 401(k))
- Tier 2 Defined Contribution Plan. Employer contributes an amount equal to 10% of your salary to a 401(k) plan only.
- Employer contributions to your 401(k) are vested after four years.
Paid Time Off:
- Annual leave and sick leave are accrued at 4 hours per pay period each (4 hours annual, 4 hours sick).
- Annual leave amounts increase with years of service.
