Summary

This job involves keeping a large event venue clean and organized by handling tasks like cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, and setting up furniture and stages for various events, including those with animals.

  • Availability for full-time shifts: Thursday-Monday, either 7:00am-3:30pm or 2:30pm-11:00pm
  • No telework option; must work on-site at the PA Farm Show Complex with free parking

Requirements

In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility by performing tasks such as emptying trash bins, sweeping and mopping floors, and sanitizing restrooms. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up and dismantling tables, chairs, stages, and livestock panels, as well as ensuring that arena seats are clean and ready for use. Your contributions will be essential for the general custodial and maintenance efforts during and after events, helping to create a welcoming environment for all guests and exhibitors. One of the most rewarding aspects of this position is the opportunity to engage with the community and experience the unique atmosphere of each event, making every day a new and enjoyable experience.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Free on-site parking
  • Available Shifts:
    • Thursday - Monday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
    • Thursday - Monday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,262.00 (before taxes).
