This job involves maintaining and servicing vehicles and equipment for Seattle City Light's fleet, including safety checks, cleaning, fueling, jump starts, and handling roadside issues like flat tires or lockouts.
You'll also assist with reservations, transport equipment for repairs, support emergency teams, and keep detailed records of all activities.

Seattle City Light's Fleets group is looking for an Equipment Servicer to join their team. Equipment Servicers, under close supervision, repair and service a variety of vehicles and equipment.
General guidelines exist in the form of standard operating procedures and technical manuals. Special assignments not covered by guidelines are discussed with Supervisors.
Personal contact is primarily with intra-departmental employees for the purpose of exchanging information.
This position will report to the Facility and Equipment Coordinator.

Requires a minimum of one year of experience in general automotive and truck maintenance (or a combination of education and/or training and/or experience which provides an equivalent background required to perform the work of the class).

The full salary range for this position is $34.61 to $37.36 per hour.
