This job involves driving vehicles to transport people, staff, food, and supplies at the Ebensburg Center, a facility run by Pennsylvania's Department of Human Services, while also handling snow removal and grounds maintenance using equipment like trucks, backhoes, and loaders.
It's a full-time role with a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule, offering stable benefits and career growth in public service.
A good fit would be someone reliable with hands-on experience in vehicle operation and maintenance, who enjoys outdoor work and ensuring safe, timely transports.
As an Equipment Operator A, you will transport individuals and staff to designated locations by operating assigned vehicles in accordance with applicable Commonwealth laws, Department of Public Works Policies, and Ebensburg Center Policies.
You are expected to adhere to the transportation schedule in order to ensure clients are transported in a safe manner to the correct location within prescribed time frames.
