The Department of Human Services is seeking a motivated and energetic Equipment Operator A to join the support services team at Warren State Hospital.
In this important role, you will operate a range of equipment and machinery to support the maintenance of facilities, grounds, and overall operations.

In this position, you will operate a range of equipment, such as trucks, snowplows, tractors, and lawnmowers, to support the upkeep of hospital grounds, facilities, and daily operations.
Responsibilities may include assisting with construction tasks, collecting waste, delivering laundry and storeroom supplies, moving furniture, handling snow removal and surface treatment, maintaining lawns, and transporting surplus food.
You will carry out minor repairs and routine preventive maintenance, as well as support automotive mechanics with more complex equipment repairs.
Additional duties include performing safety checks and equipment inspections before use and keeping accurate operation records.
The role requires making routine, independent decisions in accordance with established hospital policies, procedures, training, and job knowledge.
