Requirements

In this position, you will play a crucial role in advancing DOT Workforce and Business Opportunity programs.

Your responsibilities will include a range of administrative tasks that support outreach efforts and special projects.

You will provide information to interested parties regarding equitable transportation programs, maintain information on the Workforce and Business Opportunity webpages, review vendor invoices for accuracy, monitor resource accounts, and provide additional administrative support as needed across a variety of programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Human Resource Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Two years of clerical experience ;or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.


Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
