Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves helping to prevent and control tuberculosis by investigating cases, tracking contacts like family members, and arranging tests, medical visits, and follow-ups to stop the disease from spreading.
It's a hands-on role in public health that includes screening high-risk groups, managing paperwork, and supporting patients with transportation and medication.
A good fit would be someone organized, good at communicating, and passionate about community health, especially with experience in disease prevention or counseling.
The Epidemiology Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the daily functions of TB Prevention & Control division of the Public Health Department including investigating TB cases and suspecting and associating investigations which includes the identification and follow-up of all contacts e.g., skin test, x-ray, medical clinic appointments and ninety (90) day repeat TST’s.
Responsible for all high-risk screening activities along with other duties assigned by supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
