This role, guided by the Section Manager, entails providing essential engineering support to the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) Program.
The primary focus includes overseeing the design and construction of wastewater systems, drinking water systems, and managing projects related to non-point source and stormwater management.
These responsibilities extend to similar projects that receive funding from various grant and loan programs.
Additionally, this position plays a crucial role in the statewide management of water infrastructure improvement initiatives funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), which is also administered by PENNVEST.
Collaboration with a third-party technical assistance provider selected by PENNVEST is a key aspect of this role, ensuring that potential applicants receive appropriate guidance regarding program requirements while also overseeing and managing the technical assistance contract as necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Meadville. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Three years of professional experience in environmental engineering, and possession of a valid Professional Engineer license issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists.
Graduate study in environmental engineering or in a closely related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis; or
Conditions of Employment:
This position requires possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.
