Job Description

Summary

This job involves supporting engineering projects at a naval facility by managing planning, procurement, and documentation to keep facilities running smoothly.

You'll work with blueprints, digital tools, and teams to turn customer needs into actionable plans and reports.

Key Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate the minimum qualification and also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Reading complex blueprints and technical schematics, alongside the ability to utilize digital tools like MAXIMO and CMPro for scheduling work, managing material procurement, and maintaining rigorous project documentation; AND Utilizing professional technical communication via phone, email, and Microsoft Office Suite to develop the organized reports, briefings, and documentation.

  • You will provide support functions (i.e., planning, programming, budgeting, implementing, maintaining, evaluating, and reporting).
  • You will manage all aspects of stakeholder reporting, providing the clarity and frequency needed to keep leadership engaged and informed on the project’s health and critical path.
  • You will manage cradle-to-grave procurement actions, collaborating with Contracting Officers (KO) to execute Task Orders utilizing MACC, JOC, and 8(a) acquisition vehicles.
  • You will manage the execution of facilities sustainment, restoration, modernization (SRM) and plant equipment projects by translating complex customer needs into actionable scopes of work that directly support FRCSW’s industrial mission.
  • You will manage the coordination between multi-disciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders to ensure that all drawings, specifications.
  • You will ensure technical documentation accurately reflect customer requirements, compliant with UFC, and ready for procurement and implementation.
