Specialized Experience: Have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-10 grade level in the Federal service which includes the following.
Perform work to assist the Project Manager with the development, design, and coordination of various construction, maintenance, and repair requirements for projects.
Provide information to develop detailed step-by-step plans for accomplishing the project and prepare detailed schematic drawings and complete construction plans utilizing CADD programs.
Assist with contract quality assurance evaluation visits with program manager while work is in progress to ensure work meets compliance and meets contract requirements.
Research and assist with engineering problems and forwards findings to the supervisor in controversial, precedent or policy cases.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-10).
