This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. There is no specific length of training or experience required.
However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Engineering Equipment Operator without more than normal supervision.
I have the ability to perform common duties which include operating bulldozers, front end loaders, backhoes, trench diggers, and dump truck.
I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
Physical Effort: Continuous physical activity and muscular efforts are required in operating of numerous levers and brakes. Makes continual control changes or changes to the position of attachments.
Working Conditions: Work is performed outside in an open driver's seat or within an enclosed cab and on flat land, slopes, steep inclines, and grades; subject to burns, noise, dust, dirt, fumes and jolts.
Constant danger of tipping or overturning vehicles. Major Duties:
