About the Position: Serves as an Engineering Business Systems Analyst within the Directorate of Public Works, Business Operations/Integration Division located in Fort Huachuca, Arizona.

Specialized Experience: One year specialized experience which includes 1) Assisting with analysis and/or evaluation of enterprise resource planning software to identify operational issues and/or to make recommendations for improvement; 2) Providing technical assistance in the use of automated financial systems to generate data for use in decision making; AND 3) Developing and/or assisting with analyzing business systems work breakdown structure coding to identify errors and recommend improvements.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).

Major Duties:

  • Manage the integration of project data with the Annual Work Plan (AWP) for the Directorate of Public Works Spend Plan.
  • Ensure that the business intelligence reports accurately represent the command's financial posture.
  • Create cost plan estimates for the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements.
  • Conduct studies and research to ensure the integrity of the financial system and the validity of all interfacing data.
  • Assist in preparing guidance for the development of the fiscal budget, handling data calls, and consolidating reports.
  • Develop strategies to recover funds for the organization.
