Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

This job involves leading a team to manage engineering projects for the Navy and Coast Guard, focusing on keeping projects on budget, on time, and meeting performance goals while handling research, testing, and deployment.
It requires overseeing big-picture planning, building partnerships across organizations, and guiding junior team members.
A good fit would be an experienced engineer who excels at problem-solving, communication, and fiscal management in government or defense settings.
You will serve as a ENGINEER in the role of IPT (Integrated Product Team) Lead of 01C53 (USCG), within the 01C50 (FMS AIR INTEGRATION USCG) Division in the 01C00 (FLEET C41) Department of NIWC ATLANTIC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or ND-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: solving multifaceted complex problems related to cost / schedule / performance / resource management, building coalitions across agencies and within the command, communicating effectively (both oral and written), understanding and mentoring junior staff on program management, and understanding budgeting and fiscal responsibility in the DON or USCG.
