Job Description

Summary

This engineering role at the Navy involves leading the integration, testing, and management of complex combat systems like Aegis hardware and tactical data links on ships and simulations.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing systems integration tasks on systems that use Tactical Data Links; diagnosing and resolving moderately complex integration issues; and working with others to develop hardware and software configuration.

  • You will acquire, manage, and allocate resources to execute one or more complex projects. Anticipate and define customer needs and requirements for project execution.

  • You will manage and complete multidimensional, complex tasks with multiple dependencies independently, mentors others regularly ensuring appropriate succession, and leads other to complex, cross-organizational goals.
  • You will lead the engineering, integration, and installation of Aegis Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL), Virtual, and Navy Shipboard Combat Systems.
  • You will employ advanced engineering techniques to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues.
  • You will lead technical reviews and ensure adherence to industry best practices and security standards.
