Full Job Description

The Michigan Civil Service Commission is seeking a dependable, organized, and empathetic Secretary to support the Employee Service Program (ESP), a confidential resource for state employees and their families. As the first point of contact for ESP, this position plays a vital role in supporting program operations and creating a professional, welcoming environment for callers and staff. The ideal candidate will be able to handle confidential and often sensitive situations with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities:
•Serve as the receptionist for ESP, answering and routing calls and emails, and scheduling client appointments based on urgency.
•Support the Program and Clinical Managers by managing calendars, meetings, and office communications.
•Enter and update client and program data in internal databases and track client satisfaction surveys.
•Coordinate wellness presentations and manage related materials, communications, and participant follow-ups.
