Telework availability is limited and will only be provided on a rare case-by-case basis during situations where Agency Leadership has determined that telework serves a compelling DoD need.
This announcement will be used to fill positions with an entry grade of GS-09 with a target grade of GS-11. The minimum salary for grade GS-09 is $64,406, the maximum salary is $83,733.
The minimum salary for grade GS-11 is $77,926, the maximum salary is $101,309.
GS-9: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-7) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as: Managing the planning and implementation of local exercises designed to test and improve emergency/continuity plans and operational readiness.
GS-11: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-9) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as: Providing strategic oversight guidance for organizational emergency preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery efforts, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and departmental directives.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment.
