This entry-level administrative role supports a state health and human services team by handling mail, documents, phone calls, and basic office tasks to help determine eligibility for community programs.
It involves providing courteous customer service, entering data into computer systems, and occasionally covering for other staff in different locations.

The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Division of Community Access, Bureau of Eligibility Determinations is seeking an Administrative Support Assistant 1 to join our team!
New hires will start at the base salary of $15.92 hourly, $1,273.60 biweekly, $33,113.60 annually.
