This job involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electronic and optical tracking systems used in naval operations, acting as an expert to support teams and develop repair procedures.

You will serve as a ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the RANGES/TRGTS OPS/INSTRMTN AND LABS GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DT-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing repair practices and developing procedural instructions for use by others on methods and steps to repair equipment; 2) Evaluating the adequacy of equipment for such purposes as repair, calibration, and testing; 3) Developing or evaluating new or modified electronic systems; 4) Analyzing and diagnosing faults in the operational configuration of electronic systems and equipment; 5) Operating and maintaining optical tracking systems and subsystems, to include Kineto Tracking Mounts (KTMs) and Lightweight Tracking Mounts (LTMs); 6) Ability to program and diagnose digital control systems (DCS).
