Full Job Description

You will serve as a ELECTRICIAN SUPERVISOR I in the REPAIR DEPARTMENT, ELECTRICAL DIVISION of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.

Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

• You will select and assign work to subordinates and instruct them on procedures, specifications, priorities, and schedules.
• You will conduct employee training on a wide range of technical requirements, steps and processes.
• You will plan work schedules, manpower, skill, and material requirements.
• You will supervise employees in installation, repair, and maintenance of various electrical systems.
• You will recommend and help plan facilities, equipment, and procedural changes to improve safety, reduce costs, and meet new work requirements.
• You will inspect work in progress and upon completion to maintain quality assurance, conformance to specifications, efficient work progress, housekeeping, and safe operations.
