Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Electrician ~ without more than normal supervision.
To meet the screen out element applicants should document experience perform electrical maintenance and repair tasks in industrial or commercial buildings such as maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing existing electrical lines, circuits and fixtures; as well as bending electrical conduit.- Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
Physical Efforts: Work involves working at ground level and from ladders, scaffolding and platforms where parts of systems worked are in hard to reach places.
Employee is required to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
Frequently lifts, carries, and sets up tools, equipment, and parts that weigh up to and occasionally in excess of 50 pounds.
Working Conditions: Work is performed both in and out of doors where there is regular exposure to dirt, dust, grease, noise, and bad weather.
There is also exposure to the possibility of cuts, bruises, broken bones, electrical shock, and burns. Shift work is required.
