About the Position: This position communicates instructions to other workers as directed by the supervisor, utilizing knowledge of electrical systems and practices.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Electrician Leader without more than normal supervision.

Must possess the ability to perform common duties which include passing on directions to several employees in accomplishing trades and labor work associated with electrician work.

I can assign the task to be performed for proper electrician procedures, methods or techniques. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

Ability To Lead or Supervise Ability To Use and Maintain Hand Tools (Electrical Work) Ability To Use Electrical Drawings Knowledge of Electrical Equipment Technical Practices (Theoretical, Precise, Artistic) PHYSICAL EFFORT: Work requires the incumbent to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in uncomfortable positions.

The incumbent frequently lifts, carries, and sets up tools, equipment, and parts that weigh up to and occasionally 20 pounds. WORKING CONDITIONS: Works inside buildings, shops, and outside.

Subject to contact with dirt, dust, and grease; shocks and bums from high voltage; cuts and bruises. Major Duties:

• Assign the immediate tasks to be performed by individual subordinates.
• Ensure that plans, blueprints, material and tools are available for jobs.
• Check work in progress for compliance with the standard operating procedures.
• Answer questions regarding procedures, policies, written instructions and other directives.
• Provide information to the supervisor on causes of delays, overall work operations and problems.
