This job involves installing, maintaining, and fixing electrical systems and controls in city parks and public buildings for the City of Pittsburgh.
It's hands-on work ensuring everything runs safely and efficiently in outdoor and indoor spaces.
A good fit would be someone with several years of practical electrician experience who enjoys working in a public service role and can commit to living in the city.
A current, valid Pennsylvania Class C Pennsylvania Driver's License (or out of state equivalent) is required prior to appointment and must be maintained throughout employment.

A City of Pittsburgh Electrical Contractor License is preferred (Registered Electrician). (Less than full-time experience will be calculated on a pro-rated basis.)
EQUIVALENCY: Education/training and/or work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis if the application clearly shows the required number of years to meet the Total Qualifying Requirement for this position (based on the sum of work experience and education/training listed above).
The Total Qualifying Requirement is four (4) years.
