This job is for an experienced electrician working at a Bureau of Reclamation site in Fort Smith, Montana, where you'll maintain, install, and repair electrical systems in power plants and equipment to support water management and environmental protection in the western U.S.

-Performs the work of Journey Level, Power System Electrician without more than normal supervision. -Maintains, installs, repairs, and troubleshoots powerplant and mobile equipment.
-Utilizes electrical equipment and applies knowledge of electrical circuitry. -Uses and maintains various machines, equipment, power, and hand tools associated with the Electrical trade.
-Implements safe clearance procedures and safety standards. -Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, and manufacturer's instructions. -Operates high-voltage switches and related devices.
-Works with medium and high voltage power, generation, and distribution.
