Full Job Description

You will serve as a EDUCATION AND TRAINING TECHNICIAN in the Learning Standards Directorate of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Maintaining student records; Compiling and inputting training data into various databases and programs; and Conducting evaluations on curriculum and instructors.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:

  • You will serve as the Lead Marine Corps Registrar for the command, encompassing all duties and responsibilities associated with the course convening and students throughout of all training and education programs, and training support.
  • You will maintain the command course catalog, Ensuring all data is accurate, relevant, and current pertaining to over 70 Navy and Marine Corps training and education programs..
  • You will assemble data and knowledge sources for compilation, interpretation, and presentation for various reports and queries to the chain of command.
  • You will provide all no-show student data, via the Operations and Training Directorate, to the Administration Directorate for input into periodic Missed Training Opportunity (MTO) message.
  • You will ensure all course convenings and student adjudications are in accordance with all regulations and higher headquarters instruction, orders, and directives.
  • You will process all student actions (enrollment, graduation, drop, no-show, etc ... ) for over 7,000 students annually.
  • You will serve as the alternate program manager and SME for the Corporate Enterprise Training Actively Resource System (CeTARS).
  • You will provide command support through the development of special program brochures and hand-outs.
  • You will maintain the electronic course catalog online, ensuring currency and accuracy.
