The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), Bureau of Postsecondary Proprietary Training is actively seeking an Education Administration Specialist to complete the professional staff.
In this vital role, you will serve as a Board Administrator, as staff to the State Board of Private Licensed Schools.
Our Division at the Department works with postsecondary occupational training providers (trade schools) offering services to Pennsylvania residents.
This role is responsible for ensuring school compliance with the mandates of the Private Licensed Schools Act.
Prior experience interpreting legislation and prior experience with adult occupational training programs or trade schools will prove beneficial.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. Must report to the Harrisburg office, or other site as designated by the Division Chief, at least twice per week.
In-office days will be directed by the Division Chief. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
