As a Cook 1 at Fircrest Residential Habilitation Center, you’ll prepare meals that support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
You’ll work in a busy kitchen where teamwork matters, routines keep things running smoothly, and your effort helps the whole community.
This job is hands-on, fast-paced, and important. You’ll follow recipes, cook large batches of food, and make sure everything is safe, clean, and ready on time. You’ll move between ovens, mixers, carts, and storage rooms, helping the kitchen run like a well-oiled machine.
What we're looking for:
Who should apply?Those with at least one year of experience in food preparation or cooking.
Completion of course in large-scale cooking may be substituted for experience.ANDA current Washington State Food Worker Card or the ability to obtain one within 14 days of employment.
