This job involves managing a hospital's data warehouse to ensure reliable data for research, reporting, and decision-making in behavioral health services.
You'll handle data from various systems, create reports, and work with teams to meet regulatory standards and improve hospital performance.
It's ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, experience in data management, and the ability to explain complex information to non-technical staff.
Develop, maintain, and update performance-measurement datasets and data structures
Validate, integrate, and analyze data from multiple systems to support research and reporting
Ensure Data Warehouse compliance with ORYX, CMS, TJC, RCW and other regulatory standards
Build SPSS & SQL programs and improve data systems, workflows, and reporting processes
Develop and maintain EHR data extraction and loading programs; resolve data issues
Provide expert guidance on IT system design and partner with REDA, IT, and leadership on data needs
Serve as liaison between the EHR and hospital teams; support users across WSH
Implement data quality protocols, review abstracted data, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, TJC, and state standards
A master’s degree in relevant specialty, technical or qualitative field; and four years’ experience in experimental, analytical, or theoretical research in identified specialty area; a Ph.D. may substitute for two years of the desired experience.
AND
For those positions required to supervise, experience must include at least one year of supervisory experience that may be concurrent to other required experience.

Equivalent education/experience in relevant field.
